We are a New Tech Network District. Project-based learning (PBL) is at the heart of New Tech Network’s (NTN) instructional approach. In PBL, students start each new unit of study with a complex and authentic task to complete.

SUBSTITUTE OPPORTUNITIES

Winton Woods City Schools is looking for reliable and dedicated substitutes to join our team. Substitute positions are a great way to support students, serve the community, and gain valuable experience working in schools.

For substitute opportunities, Winton Woods participates in the Comprehensive Substitute Solutions through Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC). To learn more and to apply to become a substitute, visit the Comprehensive Substitute Solutions website.

Current Substitute Pay Scale

  • Teacher Substitute - $130 per day
  • Aide Substitute - $13.45 per hour
  • Secretary Substitute - $14.15 per hour
  • Custodian Substitute - $10.38 per hour

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Satisfactory criminal background check
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Educational aide permit or substitute teaching license, if applicable
