Communications Department
The Communications Department is responsible for providing clear, up-to-date communication to our students, parents, staff and communities with the goal of providing a better understanding of the role, objectives, accomplishments and needs of the district. As the reputation of Winton Woods City Schools has grown to include international recognition of our students, the Communications Department works consistently to share that good news. We highlight student and staff achievements in the district’s email communication, website news, the Warrior Supercast, and on social media.
The Communications Department has received three Golden Achievement Awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA):
- Award of Merit for our New Tech Network video
- Award of Merit for our Project-Based Learning video
- Honorable Mention Award for our Warrior Supercast podcast series.
Effective communication with our students, staff, parents and community plays an integral part in ensuring all students achieve their highest potential.
