Although Emma Ciprini is new to the district, she has caught the attention of many at Winton Woods Intermediate School (WWIS) with her excellent teaching skills and kindness. “I am extremely proud to recommend our October Teacher of the Month,” said WWIS Principal Jeremy Day. “Ms. Cipriani is a fifth-grade math and science teacher who has built an amazing classroom culture in which one of her students' stated, ‘We get to learn through games, which is a lot of fun. She is super nice and very enthusiastic. She likes to put smiles on kids’ faces, and she is one of the best teachers that I have ever had.’”
Mr. Day says Ms. Cipriani has done such a great job building self-esteem and confidence in her students that he asked her to run a workshop at a future staff meeting on building relationships with scholars. “Her knowledge and skill set has to be spread throughout our building,” said Day. Her partner teacher, Samantha Schwartz stated, “I love working with Emma because of the energy and enthusiasm she brings to the classroom. She works hard on getting to know each student individually. She is always positive and makes you feel important every day. I could not have asked to work with a more caring and amazing friend.”
“We are happy to have hired Ms. Cipriani and could not be more thrilled to recommend her for Teacher of the Month,” said Day. “Congratulations.”
