Mentors Needed for Academy of Global Studies Students

During the 2019-2020 school year, Winton Woods High School is looking for individuals to serve as mentors to students in the Academy of Global Studies (AGS). Mentors are needed and will meet twice a month from 7-7:50 a.m. at the high school. This is a great opportunity to connect to the young people of our community and help them learn and grow as they complete their first year of high school.

This year, all mentors will be connecting with students in grades 9 and 12 in small group settings to help aid in conversations and activities related to educational, social, and global issues. On Friday, August 23, an orientation will be led by the AGS facilitator Josh Amstutz at 7 a.m. in the high school media center. Please contact Mr. Amstutz (amstutz.joshua@wintonwoods.org) or Ms. Crenshaw (crenshaw.princess@wintonwoods.org) to confirm your participation and feel free to share this with professionals you recommend.
