Winton Woods City Schools is excited to bring the city of Cincinnati together for its fourth annual “A Night of Freedom”. The spotlight event of the year is free and will be held at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on Thursday, March 19, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Students from all grades will showcase their work through exhilarating performances, a visual arts gallery walk, combined with enlightening student presentations all centered around the subject of freedom. There will also be a reception and an award ceremony at the conclusion of the event. Students have been working hard on their creative and insightful projects and are excited to share them with the public and our Warrior community.
“Every year, we look forward to seeing what our students will present,” said Community Engagement Coordinator Corina Denny. “We know how much it means to them as well as the teachers to see their work on display. This is a special night that reaches over 1,000 guests each year.” The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is located at 50 East Freedom Way in downtown Cincinnati.
