Vision Statement

The Winton Woods Technology Center is a team of staff members that are here to work with the school district employees and students to provide practical solutions for their technology and informational needs. The purpose of the Technology Center is to provide the path for our future and to maintenance our existing infrastructure. We try to provide an accurate and prompt solution to many network/software concerns that could become apparent with the changing needs of the district to ensure student/faculty productivity and technology growth.

Included in our district are some of the latest names, and brands that we provide to our students. But as technology advances, the skillsets change. Primarily we use Chromebooks and Nexus 7 tablets to allow students to reach their highest potential. We give our students the latest versions of software on these devices, with Chrome OS, Google Drive, and many other software and services.

As technology advances techniques and abilities change as well. One very important piece in our technology program is giving students the tools and abilities to use what they have. Below we have provided our staff, students, and teachers, with an intro to Chromebooks, Google Drive, and all of the major tools students use on a daily basis. Attached are links to instructional Google Docs that detail the proper use of the technology within the district. A tool is only useful when we know how to use it!
