SUMMER ENRICHMENT AND ASSIGNMENTS

summer enrichment logo
Summer vacation is a great chance for students to extend their learning. To help facilitate this, Winton Woods City Schools is providing recommended summer online links and activities to improve academic skills.  In many cases, classes even have required summer assignments due the first day of school to elevate student learning from day one.

Experts in education say students can lose an average of two to three months of school year learning if students do not continue academic engagement over the summer.  Families who encourage summer academic enrichment avoid this disappointing achievement drop-off.

Please encourage and help your child to enrich his/her summer through these links and activities in the right column.  Simply find your students upcoming fall grade and click on the links.   We have also provided information below on other available outside resources for various summer programs.
