Winton Woods High School graduating class of 2018.

Many parents of seniors in the Winton Woods City School District are breathing easier because, thanks to scholarships, their children’s college tuition will be either partially or completely paid for. In fact, this year’s graduating class from Winton Wood High School earned a total of $10 million in scholarships from both in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities. Some graduates will be traveling as far as Columbia University and Northeastern University to begin their college careers, while others will be staying close to home to attend schools such as the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Xavier University, and The Ohio State University to pursue degrees in fields such as business, education, engineering, medical and music. Athletic scholarships have been accepted by students participating in football, wrestling, baseball and basketball. As an alternative to college, some graduating seniors are enlisting in the military and others have chosen to contribute to the economy through seeking employment. No matter what pathway they have decided to take, Winton Woods City Schools is proud of our graduates and wish them success as they become positive contributors, innovators, and leaders in our community and in our global society.
