FEBRUARY

Honoring the Past & Inspiring the Future

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Many Cultures-One Nation

During the month of February, all WWIS students will be given a bracelet to recognize the importance of respecting people from all cultures.   Each school day, we will ask trivia questions from all of the cultures that are represented in Winton Woods Intermediate School and the United States of America.

Students will be encouraged to submit the answers to these questions in a prize box each day during lunch.  We will randomly select a student response until we find the correct answer.  Once selected, the name will be called over the PA. If the student is wearing their bracelet, the student will receive a small and an invitation to attend the Many Cultures-One Nation Luncheon on Friday, February 26 during their regularly scheduled lunch time.
