WWHS Concert Master Makes Cincinnati Youth Symphony Orchestra
Justin Hisle, concertmaster of the Winton Woods High School Orchestra, was notified today that he has been accepted as a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra as a violinist. This orchestra is an auditioned group that is made up of the most elite instrumentalists in the Greater Cincinnati area for grades 9-12.
Justin is a junior at Winton Woods High School and is a product of the Winton Woods City School's Orchestra Program. He has been studying privately for two years and has recently begun studying with James Braid, a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He has recently increased his practicing to a regiment of four hours a day and is displaying fine leadership skills.
This fine accomplishment is one for which we need to congratulate Justin but it is also one that our school district needs to celebrate as this is evidence that our students are among the best.
