Winton Woods Schools Receive Clean Kitchen Awards

Five schools in the Winton Woods District have received the Clean Kitchen Award given by the Hamilton County Public Health Department: Winton Woods Middle School, Intermediate School, Elementary School, and Primary North and South.

United Way Success By 6 Receives Winton Woods’ Community Spirit Award

A continuing collaboration between Winton Woods City Schools and United Way Success By 6 has helped support the district’s youngest learners as they start on their path to academic success. “Success By 6 stresses the importance of early childhood education and was instrumental in helping us this year with the Jumpstart programs for our kindergarten and preschool Warriors,” said Corina Denny, community engagement coordinator for the district. Success By 6 contributed $7,000 to the Jumpstart program.

Winton Woods District and City of Forest Park Partner on Tennis Court Renovation

Winton Woods City Schools and the City of Forest Park recently partnered to renovate and repair the city’s tennis courts, a collaboration that benefits both the district and the city. The courts are used by the district’s high school varsity, junior varsity and freshman tennis teams, as well as the high school’s physical education classes. Home matches are held on these courts, and time is set aside by Forest Park for team practices during the tennis season. “The City has done this for years and does not charge the district, families or athletes for this usage,” said Steve Denny, executive director of business affairs for Winton Woods City Schools.

Winton Woods District  Releases 2016 Quality Education and Opportunities Report

The latest edition of Winton Woods City Schools’ Quality Education and Opportunities (QEO) Report has been mailed to all families and community members in the district. This is the fourth year the district has released a QEO report to supplement the information provided by the State of Ohio.
