Early Childhood Program
Children with developmental delays, ages 3-5, and typical children, ages 4-5, who reside in the Winton Woods district are eligible for the preschool program.

Six classes are offered for four half-day sessions weekly. The classes meet at Primary North Elementary School. Emphasis is on total development and preparation for kindergarten. This program is funded by a federal grant and general fund. The program promotes growth in the following areas:
- Motor development
- Sensory awareness
- Creativity and problem solving
- Life skill development
- Socialization activities
- Language-based learning
