Preschool Program

by Don Dudley last modified Friday, July 20

The district’s goal is to provide a quality early childhood education program for all children ages three through five years old.

Winton Woods City Schools currently has six Early Childhood classes in operation. The Winton Woods program is separate from the Hamilton County Head Start Program. We have three morning classes and three afternoon classes. Classes are 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday. Our inclusionary classrooms serve children with special needs and typically developing children. Children with special needs may have difficulty with learning, talking, communicating, walking or developmentally behind in some way.
Class sizes are limited to twelve children (six special needs children and six typically developing children) with one teacher and one assistant.  All of our teachers have masters degrees and are certified in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.  Our program has the benefit of an extended staff which includes a physical therapist, occupational therapist, and a speech pathologist.
The curriculum reflects our belief in established early childhood principles and the new educational academic standards.

Your child must be potty trained and be 3 years (before July 31st) through 5 years old, please call the Winton Woods Enrollment Center at (513) 619-2360 for more information if you are interested.
