Community PTA News:
• The Winton Woods Community PTA would like to say thank you for the tremendous support of our Market Day program. With your help, our four elementary schools earned $400 in free library books, to be divided among them.
This month, along with the delicious food that Market Day always has, it’s cookie bonus days. If 1500 or more cookies are sold, the PTA would make $6600. That would mean each family would only need to order and pay for one cookie tub. There are 11 delicious selections to choose from, and one of the cookie tubs has no sugar added for those who have to watch their sugar intake. Order your cookies now for the upcoming holidays. If you order four or more cookie tubs, you will get a Market Day insulated bag free. The bag keeps cold food cold and hot food hot.
Because of the logistics of getting order forms to our Market Day chairpersons— Yvette Edwards and Jackie Colvin—in a timely manner, we are asking that all future orders be placed on the Internet or phoned in to Market Day. If this isn’t an option for you, please call Yvette (293-5254) or Jackie (460-1736), and one of them will place your order.
We are also asking each Warrior Family to look at the Market Day guidelines and ordering information.

When you order please give a working phone number and a working alternate phone number (such as a cell phone), so that we can reach you in the evening to remind you to pick up your order.
If you can’t pick up your Market Day order, please contact Market Day, Yvette or Jackie before the cut-off date so that your order can be cancelled. If a customer has two (2) no shows, which means an order was not picked up, the customer will have to prepay with Market Day online or call in their order to Market Day and prepay.
We can always use volunteers to help sort and pack the Market Day orders every month. If you can volunteer one or two hours, please contact Yvette or Jackie. Volunteers are needed between 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. on pick-up days.
