by Gina Burnett last modified Monday, February 08

Auditions are open for the Winton Woods Music Boosters Community Talent Showcase that will take place on Sunday, February 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Winton Woods High School. Acts will be given five minutes to perform during the show and must be suitable for audiences of all ages.

“Auditions are open to any Winton Woods students, including home school students who are enrolled part-time,” said Winton Woods Music Boosters John Jordan. “We are making auditions available to adults as well and hope to see some adult acts.”

Auditions will be held:

  • Sunday, February 21 at Winton Woods High School from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
  • Monday, February 22 at Winton Woods Middle School from 2:45-5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 23 at Winton Woods Intermediate School from 3:15-6:00 p.m.

Auditions must be in full costume and a $25 refundable deposit is required to ensure that acts go as they were auditioned. Audition application forms are available on the Winton Woods Music Boosters website at http://www.waycross.org/wintonwoods/musicboosters/TalentShowcaseApplication.pdf

or at the offices of Winton Woods High, Middle or Intermediate Schools. Forms must be turned in no later than Friday, February 19 to those school offices.

Tickets for the Community Talent Showcase will be $6 in advance and $8 at the door.  The price of admission includes a soup dinner. Tickets will go on sale February 12 in the Winton Woods High School Athletic Office located in the Athletic Building behind the high school.
