Winton Woods High School Offers Summer College Tours

by Gina Burnett last modified Monday, June 16

Winton Woods School District students again have the opportunity to visit area colleges and learn more about their campuses during the school’s annual "College Tour" from June 23-27. “Students were able to register for one day or all five days of the tour,” said Senior Counselor Kevin Jones. The cost was $20 per day.

“What a great opportunity for these students to get to compare ten different colleges and universities,” said Jones of the 23 students signed up for the tour. “We will be talking to the admission offices about the programs they offer, eating on campus, taking a walking tour of the classrooms and facilities, and viewing the dorms.”

Colleges to be visited include: Wright State and Wilberforce Universities on Monday, June 23; Miami University and Wilmington College on Tuesday, June 24; Northern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky on Wednesday, June 25; the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University on Thursday, June 26; and The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University on Friday, June 27.
