Punt, Pass & Kick Winners Announced at Winton Woods Elementary

Third and fourth grade students at Winton Woods Elementary School (WWES) showed off their athletic ability at the school’s annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition.  The program is a national skills competition in which boys and girls ages 8-15 to compete separately against their peers. WWES competed in the 8-9 and 10-11 age divisions under the direction of Physical Education teacher Sheri Conrad.

 
The rankings for 8- and 9-year-old girls were: first place: Geralyn Smith with a combined punt, pass and kick score of 108 ft., 3 inches.  Second place: Shauna McKenzie; third place: Shawndale Arrington

 

The rankings for 8- and 9-year old boys were:  first place D'Jenon Trimble with a combined punt, pass and kick score of 157 ft., 8 inches.  Second place: Kameron Tarpley; third place: Cameron Mills.

 

The rankings for 10- and 11-year-old girls were:  first place Jalyn Hill with a combined punt, pass and kick score of 76 ft., 9 inches. Second place: Dachelle Cameron.

 

The rankings for 10- and 11-year-old boys were:  first place Jerron Cage with a combined punt, pass and kick score of 208 ft., 3 inches.  Second place Gregory Jones-Tomlin; third place: Jack Schramm.


Established in 1961, the Punt, Pass & Kick program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program. With more than four million boys and girls from around the country taking part in the competition every year, it is one of the world's largest youth sports participation programs.
