Animals in the House

Project 1

 “Animal in the House”

 

Overall Objective:  The students will choose two animal of their choice.  Students will research the animals. Comparing and contrasting the two animals identifying their ecosystems and places on the food chain. Students will create a model of a food chain.

 

Questions to Research:

What animals are you going to choose?

Is the animal a herbivore, carnivore, producer, omnivore or a decomposer?

Where is each animal on the food chain?

What is a food chain?

What is a ecosystem?

How is each animals ecosystem different?

Why is each animal import in its ecosystem?

 

Product: The students will create a PowerPoint slideshow that illustrates what they have learned.  The slideshow should include answers to the previous questions. Also the students should design a slide that illustrates a food chain. With prior permission, students may choose another medium that illustrates their knowledge of what they have learned.
