Wolke

The application was submitted. She had a flicker of hope and a dream of traveling across the globe to study abroad for her senior year. A day prior, Winton Woods High School senior Madeleine Wolke and her mother spent the evening that led to a late night completing forms and other requirements. The next day she completed and submitted her application. Three weeks later, she heard back and was selected to be a Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) student for their study abroad program. For the 2023-24 school year, she is attending the United States Academy in Quito, Ecuador for her senior year. “I was so happy, and I got my top location pick,” said Wolke. “This is going to be an amazing experience, and I’m so excited.”
