Occupational Therapy Services

Occupational therapy means services provided by a qualified Occupational Therapist

licensed under Chapter 4755. of the Revised Code; and

(i) Improving, developing, or restoring functions impaired

or lost through illness, injury, or deprivation;

(ii) Improving ability to perform tasks for independent

functioning if functions are impaired or lost; and

(iii) Preventing, through early intervention, initial or further

impairment or loss of function.

Physical therapy means services provided by a qualified Physical Therapist licensed under Chapter 4755. of the

Revised Code. 

 

This includes the evaluation and treatment of a person by physical measures and the use of therapeutic exercises

and rehabilitative procedures, with or without assistive devices, for the purpose of preventing, correcting, or

alleviating any disability as it relates to the school environment and a student’s access to education.
