Easy Ways to help Winton Woods Schools

Parents and community members who are looking for ways to support the Winton Woods School District and the Winton Woods Community PTA now have some easy ways to pitch in.
Volunteering at Winton Woods City Schools. There are a variety of ways to serve in our schools and our goal is to find the perfect fit for you. You will join a group of parents, grandparents and community volunteers from local businesses, government, and churches who are all dedicated to helping students be successful.  For more information, click HERE.
Recycling bins for cans and paper are available at all district schools. “Instead of paying for curbside recycling at home, our families can bring their cans and paper to school where the money goes directly to the school where they recycle,” said Dr. Terri Socol, executive director of teaching and learning for the district. “It takes a couple extra minutes but saves money at home.”
Joining the Winton Woods Community PTA costs $5.00 and supports special programs and incentives for students throughout the district. Additionally, Kroger shoppers can designate theWinton Woods PTA as their school of choice on a Kroger PLUS Card and the PTA receives 4% cash back on all purchases. Go to www.Krogercommunityrewards.com to register.
Donating a book for a student in grades K-12 will help the district achieve its goal of putting a book into the hands of every student in the district. The Winton Woods High School Key Club is sponsoring the drive and is working with community partners like the Cincinnati Financial, the Greenhills Village Council and the Forest Park Senior Center. Books can be dropped off in any school.

Collecting “Box Tops for Education” from over 100 participating products and “Labels for Education” from Campbell’s Soup products helps school earn computers, books, and playground and educational equipment. These can be dropped off in the main office at any school.
