WWHS Students Accepted into Prestigious Medical Program

 

Three Winton Woods High School students are on their way to experiencing everything medical through Mercy Health’s highly competitive Medical Explorers Program at Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital. There were over 150 interested students from various school districts, 32 students were selected region-wide, 3 students from Winton Woods made the final cut and they are: junior Brianna Ball and seniors Jada Ray and Lily Smith. The average GPA for the group of colleagues was 4.25. During this incredible program, that supports students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, students from 12 high schools will meet once or twice a month. Each session will include a physician guest speaker, tour, and hands-on experience with healthcare professionals.
